First accessed the Internet from local Cyber cafe, some 10 years ago. Then, used netkracker ISP (now defunct), followed by Sify Online on 56K dial-up at my first home PC. Finally made the switch to 2 MBPS ADSL some 4 years ago.
woa! this year i'll celebrate 10 years since i first connected to the internet. I remember my first connection had like 1-2 kb/s download speed lol.
I Prob Got on the Net around 1997.. it was freaking slow all it was used for is writing Emails and Reading things there was a few small games that I found back then but they took like hours to load.. -Chris
interesting facts in the video the world is miraculously changing and also so fast at my own computer from home I'm connected to internet since 1999
11 - 12 years ago via dial-up. Made me think this did, it's been so long and so many changes on the net. <rant> Back then I signed up with AOL on a local rate number (UK) and geez it was hard as you were cocooned inside their browser, hosting (my 1st site was with hem at it was glitter and huge graphics), web front with message boards and AOL keywords (I could never remember any of the), it was actually awful. Then I took the brave step and signed up with an ISP that basically gave you nothing so had to flee the nest in the nude into the big www .. I actually felt liberated lol </rant>
I got my very first connection back in 2001 which was costly! use to pay for particular hours But from 2003 i m using non-stop Lan Service till now
