google doesnt consider that the original content is the first which was indexed. If it would be like that, news websites would be mark as "non original content"

If google does not consider content as "original" even if it is first indexed then on what basis it decides the original content. I think I am confused with original and unique.

Original, to a search engine, means 'definitive copy'. Duplicate means 'not definitive copy'.

In fact, this is a question I have in mind as a new forum member here. I have got an insight. But, the question is not yet answered to my satisfaction. What are the features of a unique content?

Rather than asking other people to spoon feed you, try using that 1kg lump of grey mush inside your head.

Put yourself in the shoes of Google. Now then, seeing as you are Google, what would convince YOU that a piece of content was 'unique'?

@ content boss fancy starting a we love dead threads fan club ;)

And hmm lets see what is unique, let us consult the oracle and scrye into the hidden depths of the future by rreading a dictionary (its a book btw remember those).

Unique: Being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else.

Maybe that would clear the issue for you somewhat

I didn't resurrect this shitcrock, 'laurelhunt' did.

And he's actually asking what makes something unique in the eyes of the search engines, not what the dictionary definition is. The two are by now wildly different, as 10 seconds thought and a few queries on google.com would have shown him if he wasn't such a lazy f*cker.

There are replies that misunderstood my intent. Sorry. I see that Google is dumb that it can't identify original articles from those that are spun or re-written. What I'm saying is that in the real world, every person's claim on an article is just a concoction of other people's brain. Not bad anyway. That's the rule.

Google is eminently capable of detecting BADLY spun content now. The grammatical tests needed are very simple, and can be done on-page. That's how Panda weeded out several million 'besterestesteresteverspinnerizeringer' sites.

if you wrote the article yourself, why do you feel the need to check it

    1. Always keep your eyes strictly on providing as much valuable information and help as you can to any possible visitor, because that's who we try to serve in building categories. If you have a website, then you know what those things are, and we will spot it as unique content (if it's there). Shift your thinking from gaining something from your site to giving something to the information seeker.
    2. If you have something different or valuable to offer, point it out on your main page where we can spot it easier.
    3. Personal opinion or experience in a topic would be considered unique content.
    4. It is better to write the content yourself, or have it exclusively written for you.
    5. Don't copy content from other sites (including so-called "free content").

None of these things guarantee a listing, but I believe they would be very helpful. Just remember that editors are building categories for information seekers, and in doing so, they really don't need all the sites that exist, only the ones that make the category itself more useful for the information seeker.

It is a fact that unique and genuine content can impress online traffic. What I believe that whatever you write should come from within your heart and brain. Do not copy. You can thus avoid plagiarism. All content you write or publish online should be relevant to your business.

This is a point lost on some new "writers." I know every article or book or document I have ever written is completely my work. One hundred percent mine. So worrying about it passing Copyscape and Google is silly. But I have my clients and they do not (generally) include the web.

Do not worry, it will take some time. once your new content index by google then you can see your new page in index(checking index or clicking on page rank)
