    Hi all,
Before launching my press release I got some doubts.

    1. How frequently we can launch the press releases?
    2. Is there any particular time to launch the press releases (end of the week, or start of the week)
    3. Please tell me the best timings for launching the press releases
    Thanks

That depends an awful lot on your company/site and the news.

You can send several press releases a day as long as you have something truly newsworthy to say without it being too often. Or you can send one each week with no real news, just to get your link out there, and I'd say that's far too often. Never send releases unless you have solid news. If you do have something newsworthy, don't stress over whether you just sent another release. Just get it out there. News is time sensitive by nature.

Shoot for the Tuesday-Wednesday range for posting (meaning send it out early enough for any with a 2-day editorial hold so it posts those days). Avoid weekends, because by the time the media are back working on Monday looking for story ideas, your release would be buried on the wires. Mondays can be busy and hard to get noticed during if you don't upgrade with a pretty high price or get a good pickup on AP or something. Thursdays are a "fluff news" day for many traditional journalists, b/c it's a common deadline day, and they're only looking for small, otherwise sometimes insignificant, things to fill any extra space or time. I've had the best luck in the Tues-Wed timeframe with clients in a wide variety of industries, so I recommend giving that a shot.
