just keep eyes on one good domain that i like a lot,
it has been expired on 25th Jun,
wondering when can i buy this domain?
i don't want to pay extra backorder fee.
checked Godaddy today but it's still not available.
what can i do right now?

GoDaddy gives customers 18 days to retrieve their domain after expiration w/out penalty. If it's someone w/ a lot of domain names they probably know of this rule so they don't stress out too much if they don't renew by the exact expiration date. After that 18 day mark the person can still retrieve the domain but it is subject to an $80 redemption fee.

You can also check TDNAM.com because that is where the domain will go for 'auction' if the customer does not renew it. If you buy GoDaddy's backorder pro product ($18.99 I'm pretty sure) and you don't get this domain you can continue to use the product until you do get a domain name you want.

Don't buy GoDaddy's backorder product, because the domain still goes up for auction after it expires.
