When buying drop domain, what should we consider?

Hi all,

I was looking at dropday.com yesterday, and wanted to buy expiring domain. What shd be my consideration? And, what's the use of "backlinks"?

You should take into consideration of the age of the domain and whether the domain is adsense ban or not.

 

There is also the issue of backlinks being wiped out. Not physically, but in the Google algo. It has long been suspected that if a domain is dropped for long enough Google wipes out all the link juice. If you re-establish a site on the domain the PR may show for a while but may completely disappear at the next update.

I got one interesting domain name i want to buy, but checkpagerank.com could not verify its PR. It says "Cannot analyze if the PR is Genuine at this time". Should I go ahead? What's the risk?

I experienced the same too with checkpagerank.net...What's wrong with it?

 

Are the domains at drop day have valid pagerank?
I found many forged pagerank domains there....

 

If you bought fraud pagerank,does it mean PR becomes 0?

 

the simplest method is search the domain on Google.

 

Check it out on sites like urltrends.... and do a google site:yournewdomain.com to check out how many backlinks it has

perhaps based from what I search even dropped domains can have a good outstanding backlinks as our friend says it servers as backlinks history of PR,traffic,se as well

 

check for what niches the site is on top 10. check alexa rank also. typr pagerankchecker on google. and ul get some good sites that will help u with pagerank. iwebtools is bullhit. dont go for it.

 

Few month ago, I buy a expired domain PR3, but one month after I buy this domain, PR is drop to PR0
So, please check with some tool before you buy the domain
