before you start marketing your/vendors products? and do you make these free gifts? Do you use PLR packages or do create your own e-book by re-writing content with affiliate links in the e-book?
I suggest if you're giving away PLR products.. that you at least change the graphics and some of the content inside to make it more unique.. I usually just create my own content cuz have the Free stuff out there is outdated and not useful at all. you can place affiliate links in the ebook and give the person getting the book "Redistribution Rights".. this gives is a bit of a Viral effect and your modified ebook can be shared across the internet.. you increase the likely hood of redistribution by giving them marketing tools and graphics to put on their site..
Free doesn't mean without value (remember that!) Give something with real value and build a relation. He/she will trust you (and buy from you). If you give them "just" free stuff they can get everywhere they will not follow you.
Not everyone wants a ebook. If you want to give something away - let it be a real object with some kind of real value.
. If you want to build an Opt-in list you need give a reason to people why do they put their e-mail id in your opt-in box. If your product & service is popular or very best, not compatative then people may opt-in without any giveaway or FREE e-books. But if you are new & product is compatative you may think free books or PLR stuff. It's better to useful giveaway free stuff. I usually offer free product(s) which have real value to people that will connect/similar to product(s) what I want to sell. ubs .
ok thank you. I'll have a read through the PLR books before I give them first and make adjustments if necessary.
Maybe it is just me, but I actually turn away when someone is providing free gifts. It feels scammy and spammy to me and it turns me off. I would prefer a quality newsletter that provides me real content. Throw a sales pitch at the end, I understand that everyone needs to make money; however, I believe a growing population are feeling the same way about free ebooks as I am.
