When backlinked does the site PR or page PR that counts?

    I was checking my backlinks and it shows site PR as well as page PR where the linking itself.

    If you get a backlink from a particular page which is PR 0 but that page is on a PR 4 site, would that help? or would that count as just PR 0 backlink?

    defiantly. Google and other search engine count PR from which page you got link. Not main page PR of that page.If you got link from PR 2 and main domain PR 5 than that PR2 will count.
