If Jesus comes back he'll have to wait in line or be smuggled into the U.S. with the rest of the illegals

Jesus doesn't need to come back in the flesh. He already accomplished his purpose, well God's purpose, when he was here before. He has already given his life, paid the ransom and bought back with his shed blood what Adam lost, that is everlasting perfect human life. He has been resurrected, thus enabling faith in the resurrection. He has gone back to heaven and presented his sacrifice, which we know was accepted by his heavenly father from the outpouring of holy spirit at Pentecost 33. So he really has no need to come back to earth. However, the Bible talks about a return so how can this be understood? To understand it we really need to know what Jesus role is. A prophecy at Daniel 7:14 tells us that this one 'like the son of man' is to be given '...rulership and dignity and Kingdom'. It also says that his '...rulership will be an indefinitely lasting' one and will 'not pass away'. This information was reiterated to Mary (Luke 1:30-33), so we know that it is referring to Jesus. The book of Revelation lets us know a lot more about Jesus role as King of God's Kingdom. This is coupled with the prophetic statements Jesus himself made when he was on earth found at Matthew chapters 24 and 25 and Luke 21. To cut a very long story a bit shorter, Jesus' return means that he will begin rulership over the earth as King, he will destroy those he deems to be undeserving, wipe out Satan's empires of false religion, human governments and the vast commercial empires. Peace will be restored to the earth and will last forever.

Yes lets make every excuse possible in order to save the bible from being just another work of fiction.
