When and How to use PPC (Pay Per Click) Through my experience I have noticed that few people start their Online Business without a cent, but that does not mean they don’t have at that time, but that is their strategy at that time. In this article I will try to share my experience with you on how to use PPC. Using PPC when your Online Business Starts Let’s say you are ready to invest 100$ on your project. What I would recommend is always to split your budget to 3 parts or more. Part1 – 60% goes to Facebook Ads Part2 – 25% goes to Bing Ads Part3 – 15% goes to Google Ads Why 60% to Facebook Ads? Because in Facebook Ads Center you can easily drive and show ads only to people you are interested to show. If you want you ads to be shown to people who lives in USA, between age 22-28 than do it, other recommended features you could use it that you may chose to show the ads to people according to their relationship status, male ore female, their interests, country they live, country they are from etc.. This is why Facebook Ads are high rated from my side, and this is what I would recommend to you as well. Why Bing 25%? You may ask yourself why Bing 25% and Google only 15%. Since our budget is only 100% that is what we are going to do, in case our budget is higher than 1000$ than we may increase Google Ads percentage and make it same as Bing. But the main reason why Bing is in higher rank than Google is that Bing is working together with Yahoo, what means that when you advertise in Bing, your ads will be shown at Yahoo! Visitors. Also you have to remember that Bing is older Search Engine than Google or others, since the same service was before named as MSN than they moved into Bing.com At Bing Ads Central you may choose where, how and who will see your ads. Google just 15%? We have noted in our previous articles that if you are interested you can buy 100$ Google AdWords voucher for approx. 15$ at sitepoint.com or other forums. In our case with the complete budget of 100$, buying the voucher in any forum exceeds Bing Advertising budget. I have to mention that Google is Google, It’s best Search Engine, and they are keeping this position for years. Also what I have noticed at AdWords Official Blog, that they are working hard to make the AdWords Center more usable, adding more features etc. In all above methods, at their Ad Center you can easy set your daily budget, and set the price per click. All above offers for free Keyword tracking when you are about to make a new campaign, where you can see for each Keyword the min. price you have to set. An good Advertiser would know how to set the low cost keywords and reach as many visitors, but this will be learned in your future steps by your own experience. There are many PPC Sites which are offering the almost same service as Google and Bing does, but at this time I will not note any other, and I would high recommend to use only these main PPC Programs at your business start. Using PPC after your Business Starts This is the method I personally recommend, but this method is for those who already have some experience in building or managing sites and Online Businesses. If you wish to use this method, that mean you have to spend much more time on PC than the first method above, but you will not spend money at your business start. After you started you project, you don’t have to go and start advertising on Google, Bing or other Advertising companies, all you have to do is tell your friends about your site, post it in different forums, adding comments, posting on other forums, asking people to review your site or blog etc. and if you site have good stuff to read and you post new stuff on daily basis, those who visited you once they will come back. After couple of weeks, maybe few months your site will be shown on Google as well, but just if you maintain your site with sitemaps, meta tags etc. and if your content are originally posted from you, Google loves Original Content!
