I'm looking to incorporate WhatsApp into my marketing mainly through the use of broadcast lists to encourage sharing of my content. What are your experiences using WhatsApp in your marketing activities? Thanks.
I think WhatsApp is good for marketing. But email marketing is best way to boos up sales because most of people click directly through mail account. Also you can try to generate more and more traffic.
They would have to save my telephone number in their phonebook and send me a message before they can receive these broadcast list messages.
I am not suggesting to replace email marketing with WhatsApp broadcast lists. WhatsApp would be an additional outlet. This is an option that I believe would encourage people to share my weekly broadcast list message with individual friends to a larger extent that asking the same people to share my Facebook post for example.
I have not tried it. And I am not sure about its success. Because people do not like to receive any promotional message on their personal number.
They will have to sign up to the service and save your number in their address book to be able to receive your WhatsApp message so I wouldn't worry about that. They people who receive your messages want to receive them and have made the effort to facilitate that! It doesn't cost anything to use this service so its worth giving it a go.
If people are happy to sign up to the service then maybe it'll work, just make sure your links have some sort of tracking so you can see how many people have actually gone ahead and clicked the link. Whatsapp is pretty personal for me anyway so I'd definitely wouldn't like to be spammed weekly with stuff.
Its an option for them at least and will hopefully lead to some people sharing the message in their personal groups. As far as the tracking goes I use bit.ly - is there a better tracking method?
Yes, Whats app Marketing should work. But Some of the users get you block as you repeatedly send them ads.
