I think its a bad idea. Sure, people can have friends of different race but I am not for interracial marriages and mixed children.

I have a simple solution for you. Don't marry someone of a different race.

As far as your opinion about what others do ... who cares what you think. I certainly do not. You can be as racist as you want, you are only making an ass of yourself.

I am not saying you should care what I say. its just my opinion. Anyway, I am all for mixing between different races in terms of being friends and such, but just not marriages and and offspring.

I guess my opinion is not different from the vast majority of the people hence people, by and large, marry in their race.

Actually, here in the UK, marriages between whites and blacks is very common, though it is very rare between any other two races. I believe in the US, marriages between whites and blacks is not as common as the UK.

I most likely wouldn't do it. However, I see nothing wrong with it. I don't really care what people do as long as it doesn't effect me. If you wanted to marry a tree, I'd support you.

Where do you live? It's very common in the US except in rural areas and it isn't much of a problem. In fact, it is much healthier to not breed within your race as each race has medical susceptibilities. Whites are prone to skin cancer, black to sickle cell, some Asian groups are prone to cleft pallets. If breeding occurs within the race the risk for race specific diseases will be increased.

How's that Thai-Black-White golfer getting along in life?

According to media reports, marriages between blacks and whites in the US is very uncommon. Anyway this might have changed a lot in the last few yeras. I guess when mixed marriages happen its usually between whites and blacks. Its very, very uncommon betweeen two other races.

I don't care if people marry someone of another collour or ethnic background or race. What race? We're all the same even if you are PURPLE. Paint yourself orange and I'd still support someone willing to marry the carrot...

Sorry, but it´s better for our genetic pool so why not?

I don't know where you get this notion, but it most major cities in the US, it is quite common to see mixed marriages. Not only between black and white, but with Asians and Hispanics as well. Your comments about interracial marriage in the US are very outdated and seem like something from 20 years ago, not 2007.

It is obvious you don't live in a major US city or you would not have the false impression of marriage that you apparently have.

In California (which is 1/10 of the US) and most non-rural areas, it is not uncommon to see white/asian, european/native American (Mexicans and others), black/asian, etc. Except for recent immigrants from Africa, virtually all African Americans are partially white.

Look around the sporting world: Derek Jeeter, Jerome Iginla, Tony Parker, Apollo Anton Ono, Tiger Woods, Jakim Noah are all MVP candidates in their sports and well accepted in society.

    Again, where do you live?

When you say Asian, do you mean Chinese and Koreans living in the US? Well, it looks like its change d quite a bit in the US in the last few years then. There are a lot more black/white marriages that i thought was still rare.

There's nothing wrong with interracial marriages or there offspring, so there's no reason to be against it.
