Since you've designed "huge online campaigns for many fortune 500 companies" you shouldn't be surprised we don't feel like telling you our best offers. That would be like setting up a campaign for Pepsi and then phoning up Coca-Cola and giving them all the specifics about Pepsi's new set up.

Lower competition for an offer equals higher profits (obviously), so most people are overly excited about increasing the number of people who promote their favorite offers.

People here are very helpful. What you don't understand is that there is a big difference between asking about the process, procedures and best practices and asking what your main money maker.

With your vast experience you should have known that and more to begin with.

I was not certain if you were or were not a newbie (I don't look down on anyone). However, it sounds like you do have quite a lot of experience. Terrific! I hope that you can stick around and share your experiences as well. Like I said, you'll find both helpful and not so helpful people in any forum. You'll also find people not worried about sharing secrets or competition, and those who are deathly afraid their good faith advice could cut into their bottom line (and justifiably so at times). However in time, I think you'll find that as you develop a reputable trust around here (or anywhere), people will open up as tips and tricks are exchanged.

That makes perfect sense. Why spend good money after bad especially if others have already gone through a failed effort. I'm sure many have picked up other tips from other people's failures which saved them time, effort and money. I don't, personally, think your question ("Just wondering what everyone is promoting and what they are doing good with?") was out of the question either for a newbie or the experienced. Sort of broad. And since you're fairly new here, maybe some of the regulars looked at that as someone just trying to cut corners without putting in their time either professionally or here in this forum. Of course, you sound like you've put in a lot of time and your last follow-up definitely helps support your first question with positive intentions (again, the 12-year old bit is designed to belittle people based on your perception of their actions so, of course, others will jump on the bandwagon to protect their integrity --- could have left that out).

Anyway, I come from a background that has some similarities as yours having managed affiliate programs -- but mostly developing content related sites that received bunches of traffic. I'm new on this side of the fence, however, but hope that this forum (unlike some I've visited) will prove to be a more positive and educational experience for me. Thus far, I like what I see posted here more than I do elsewhere.

Best of success in your new efforts, BigWill. I hope to see more of your posts here and hope to exchange some experiences with you as we both develop our new found endeavor. Take care.
