Hello guys I'm asking you how to rank with long tail keywords on google. What's your on page seo strategy for long tails? What's the best way to increase organic traffic after Penguin update for micro niche websites? Could you please let me know about your H1-H2-H3 usage and anchor text in it? Thanks
SEO can be a science but utilizing a keyword is absolutely simple and you should probably keep it simple and try not to over think it. I will try to incorporate a few long tail keyword in each page. Perhaps have one in the title, h1 or h2. Use again in the content of the page and maybe even toward the bottom or in bold. The key is to use the keyword on the page so search engines find it (thus making it possible for searchers to find your web site). Again...don't over think it. Obviously keywords in the TITLE, H!/H2, and BOLD/UNDERLINE are rated with more weight but don't abuse those tags. It also helps to have the keywords IN the content not wrapped with emphasizing tags.
My strategy is to make my on-page SEO perfect and spend the rest of the time on off-page SEO and writing good/quality content.
Well, I am not using long tail keywords for on-page SEO. I have just used my site's keyword on Meta tag, and Title tag.
For long tails I build a few web 2.0 and I blast them with a few social bookmarks, link pyramids, and drip fed G+1's. Worked out for me so far, you just have to make sure that your not linking spammy material..
The Long Tail is used to describe the hundreds to thousands of keywords and key phrases that a website is found for. The principle of the Long Tail is the opposite of focusing on the top 10-20 keywords for marketing your website.
