As a general rule if you run an ecommerce shop actually selling products you should get 3-5 sales per 100 visitors (as a rough guide).

I'm interested to know if this is true of selling affiliate products?

Do you get 3-5 sales per 100 visitors or do the number of visitors to your site need to be much higher to achieve these sort of sales? Do you find that physically products (as apposed to web based software/hosting etc) sell better or worse than none physical products?

(i appreciate that different niches will potentially have different sales figures however im just looking to get a general idea of the potential conversion rates!!!)

I'm doing leads and roughly 1/3 views becomes a click, and 4/5 clicks becomes a lead.
