thanks I made sure of it. Quit the corporate job 20 miles away, well I told them I either work from home or quit, and they picked work part time from home. And now I only take computer/networking clients if it's within 10 miles from my home. Plus this internet marketing stuff pays off. You should try it.
Currently: 99 Dodge Caravan (we have 3 kids) Previously: Lincoln Mark VIII - (Most recent) Mercury Mystique [about 30 cars in between] 77ish Chevy Chevette - first car...I spray painted it blue - it was a real beauty heh
In Pacific Beach that's all you need. Unfortunately I have to go other places, too. I hate driving, got another ticket today.
Toyota Carina.....diesel, 2 litre. Insurance is a nightmare in ireland btw, full clean license + 5 years no claims & is still over 2,500 euro, rip-off ireland they call it.
I thought this topic would be about something else. Ride has a different meaning in my slang vocabulary. I tell ya whats...MTV's Pimp my ride, really would be a much bigger hit if it was pimp my ride according to Mella's defenition. On topic; The number 29 bus. Or my mum's car. I ain't got my own. I suck eggs.
I'm pretty grown. I'm pretty sure I'm male too. But I guess I'm technically not men. I'm sorry but why would I take a car when I can get on the scooter and get 80mpg, perfect parking, free parking at school, and not wait in line at red lights? scooters rule, cars drool!
I couldn't get away with a scooter because I'd get run over everywhere I go with the trafifc in my area, but 80mpg is a dream compared to the 8-11mpg that my Navigator gave me. My 911 averages 26mpg amazingly - and I drive that car like it's supposed to be driven. My BMW's are not great, but not that bad either. When you go to fill that tank and it takes two swipes out of your ATM card, you know that you made a bad purchasing decision (Navigator).
Got any pix? I love those cars! And I agree about the 993 looking better than anything since. I've had 2 944's (wrecked) and a supercharged 928-s4 (a rare manual ). That car was a MONSTER! So fast it was scary! Right now I have an '04 Z but I plan on getting a 911 ASAP.
1999 MB E300 TurboDiesel here. Suits me perfectly. Excellent mileage yet sporty so I can still have lots of fun on the highway with it (I have a K-40 installed ). The MB Diesel engine is legendary for its longevity and reliability which is also very appealing to me. I've owned 4 MB Diesels over the years, and I am in possession of 3 now. Now that MB has reintroduced the Turbo Diesel here in the US (now called the CDI), I am tempted to upgrade. Well, maybe next year, after some of my new sites have had a chance to mature a bit. AmCy
