Threads like this never give a true reflection - some webmasters like to 'big it up' by bragging about a very high PR when in fact they only have a PR2 or 3. Me on the otherhand - I have a network of PR8 blogs
I have 2 sites I seriously worked on. One is fairly new (1 month) so Pr 0, other is quite old and has pr 2.
Most of mine are PR2 and PR3, with a couple PR4's... Only paid domain registration fee's and hosting... I've just recently (last week) looked into paying for stuff...
I have also bought some links, but I dont think it will help that much. However link exchanges are very good in SEO
My best site has a PR of 3, but I spent nothing on advertising. BTW, looking at my stats, my sites with lower PR gets more google hits, because of keywords.
highest is pr6 and average is 3-4... never spent a cent. good seo for a decent site should never cost a thing
Last update was pr4. I have added quite a few site since then and to tell you the truth I never check anymore. Since I don't sale links and google has been giving most of my new and old sites plenty of traffic I don't care anymore.
LMAO I knew a lot of people would go 10! In some cases you are right, however if you are, say, a spa shop, it's not something people will want to link to. Sites like that are hard to link-bait if the owners want to keep it business-like (which is fair enough)
