What's your opinion on Worldpay? - Other CC processors?

I'm about to start a new ecommerce site and will offer PayPal as payment optin (besides wire transfer and COD).
Now, I don't want to look too unprofessional so what payment processor is good to use?

    Worldpay?

    - Rather expensive (chargeback: USD 20)
    - Bad fraud protection (worse than PayPal, that's what I heared)
    - It takes them 4 weeks to deposit money

I can't use Authorise.Net as I'm not located in the US.

I'd love to use Paily but you need to be established (1 year minimum).

Will be selling CE items in the $500 - $1500 range / item.

    Much appreciated. :)

It really depends on what country you are in. If you are looking at how much chargebacks are going to cost you - you might be in a world of hurt. Yes, expect to get chargebacks but run your business so you won't get a chargeback.

You can use the electronic payment gateway Authorize.net if you are not located in the United States - you just need a merchant account provider that will accept you. Having only Authorize.net will not allow you to accept credit cards - you still need a merchant account.

What country are you in? Have you checked with your local banks to see if they support electronic commerce?

Thanks for your quick reply Corey!

    I'm in Germany.

I'd love to use Paily as they protect you 100% against chargebacks (for a 6.9% fee).

I'm dealing with Consumer Electronics goods: Cell phones, laptops etc and shipping worldwide so it's VERY risky and chargebacks are common if you don't request further verification from suspicious "customers".

I will call my local bank and see what they can do for me!
