What's your opinion on the best way to market this?

Hello,

My partner and I have just put together, through a lot of work, a Blogging Guide and companion workbook (ebook). Our blog is pretty established but we would like this new product launch (completely free) to help establish our brand and also bring in more traffic/subscribers.

Here's what we have done so far:

Emailed fellow blogging friends, stumbled, dugg and wrote a post about it. What else would you do to market this Blogging Guide and workbook?

 

you can try releasing a press release for your ebook, Im sure that will bring in some traffic.

Hmmm do one thing. first get some money and advertise on websites having alexa rank under 5,000.
that will get much traffic, i am sure

they offer links for only $30 (starting price) on their website. they have a rank below 5,000

 

make some video clips and publish them in popular online videos sites such as youtube veoh metacafe, spreading your brand and bring in traffic

 

You should just ask for other bloggers opinions. If they like it, they'll write a review. Otherwise, they may tell you what they don't like about it. It may allow you the opportunity to tweak it a bit. If you really want their response, tell them you would like to pay them a small amount for their advice and opinion. They should respond then, and at least give you an honest review of what you have done.

 

I think that is a great idea! Making a video would be a stellar way to get the guide some traffic and brand it!
