That's a big part of what the primaries are all about!

Yes, the primaries are focused in picking candidates, but why would you pick a candidate who you didn't want to see become president?

Oh, I'm not saying it's premature to discuss who you think the better candidate would be.

I think that how the opening post assumes that one of those two -will- be president and asks how people will feel about this fact is what is premature.

I am simply asking that people assume that an election came down to those two choices - who do you think would most people support and why?

I think most people wouldn't vote...as witnessed by the results...

Doesn't really tell us too much Sherlock to be honest.

I was merely pointing out that around 75% of Americans here in this P&R forum are Republican supporters. Don't mean a thing to me as both partys are controlled by the same people but the blind support some of you show for a terrorist like George W Bush drives me mad but everyone is entitled to their own views and opinions at the end of the day. :)

For that to be even remotely sensible, you'll have to add another poll choice for the nations first WOP President.

    WOP?

Anyway, the assumption is so flawed that I really don't see the point in participating.

WOP (With Out Papers) is a term used to refer to I-talians.

Rudy will be, according to the current poll numbers, our first WOP President.

    He's got my vote!

Rudy's gun control views don't give you pause, Will?

They do. I don't like city boys with their freakish gun-control fetishes.

But, overall, Rudy is a fine candidate and I am sure that he will be a competent and effective President.

No. I mean "with out papers." Why would it be used... at all... to describe that particular segment of our population... where does it come from? In what context does it make sense?

Ron Paul is good. TRUST me he won't SHUTDOWN federal reserve. If he tries, those guys will squeeze the money supply and you will have depression with HOUSING BUBBLE and NO BANKRUPTCY PROTECTIONS THIS TIME, Bush gave those guys what they needed in GOLDEN PLATE. Just don't want to imagine.

P.S: I don't keep my money in US Dollars.
