In my advanced years I find myself listening to jazz and even classical music as opposed to the classic rock I have enjoyed for decades. Maybe I should start doing drugs again...
I am a fan of soft and soothing music.... Such music helps me remain calm and cool... Regards, RightMan
For me, music has no boundaries, no borders. I listen to Metal,Rock, death metal,Ska, Punk, new era music, ambient, trance, alternative, classical, neo-classical, instrumental, gospel, opera, skunk, reggae, hardcore, grunge and the list goes on..
My tastes range from Madonna to Led Zeppelin to Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Loreena McKennitt, Cher ... as long as the songs has a good vibe ... and good lyrics!
i think rock has a very wide area covered...i mean, one can be very nervous, so he listens to a black or a gothic metal...and he chills out...then, one may be in love...so he listens to Metal Ballads...and so on... so...ROCK ON!
case in point: nothing fuels a good workout @ the gym like some great metal. EG for me, Anthrax: Sound of white noise, Stomp 442, Vol 8 - are some of my all time favs in that respect!

I went through a classic rock phase when I was young, now i'm pretty much into anything but I favor acoustic rock.
where or how? I love some of the stuff I hear on Proton radio but the only problem is that I have to skim through 12 hours of it to find 4-8mins of KILLER stuff. do you have Sirius radio or something? Or just know artists to look to?
