This is something I've been watching at my site for the last few months in Google Analytics...I'm planning a major redesign and migration. If I go with a fixed or minimum width layout, I need to know just how many folks I'll alienate. Turns out, I'm still getting a consistent ~10% of my visitors at 800x600...from last month: 1. 1024x768 (41.21%) 2. 1280x800 (13.31%) 3. 1280x1024 (10.98%) 4. 800x600 (9.29%) 5. 1440x900 (5.91%) 6. 1680x1050 (4.44%) 7. 1152x864 (3.25%) 8. 1280x768 (2.14%) 9. 1920x1200 (1.90%) 10. 1400x1050 (1.30%)
My resolution is 1280x1024 (I believe it's a 17" one). I don't really like wide screen monitors and I think maybe in the future it will be more difficult to make website layouts that show up correctly on these screens. Apart from that, they're bad for your eyes
Why they are? Because I have to move them for a long distances? I believe it's some kind of training...
