But remember, those who have those sites did heavy promotion to their lists (like Joel did), plus got other partners to push their site. Etc etc etc Something not noted by those selling that software or the sites and advertising. You can do it if you do the same as the above. Basically, my take is, like pixel sites, give a month or so, be useless as tits on a boar hog to advertise on.
If I were to do that I would come up with a new gimmick and custom build the script rather than rehashing someone elses idea.
Then go off of the skills you do have... use what you have. I don't see these 500 word sites as being a good long term investment. Who knows though, maybe I'll be suprised?
They will only stay around if there is content on the pages. __________________ PM me to buy the updated 500wordsite.com script for $100
I think there are better ways to spend $100 online. For the webmaster, its easy money cuz people are pretty stupid
Permanent links that actually drive traffic are not cheap. To pay $100+ for a permanent link on something that might take off is not unreasonable at all. But yes, I agree you do need something fresh and unique to make that happen.
For a permanent link that drove traffic, I'd certainly pay $100. But this link will not ever be profitable. Assuming you will get 99% of your clicks in the first month the site is online, till the fad is over.
