I have a 500GB external Seagate Freeagent Desktop. But it's usb connector on the enclosure has been damaged somehow in less than 3 months and now I need to return it to the shop for repair
80gb on macbook, 60 gb on mac mini, 250gb+80gb+80gb external (3 hds,2 usb and 1 firewire with 3 different filesystems 1hfs, 1 ntfs, 1 fat)
mine is 250 GB SATA and it still have around 150 GB left free. i have downloaded all liked movies and installed all proggies needed still i have so much of it with me. dont know what people do with 1 TB or more.
I have 500GB internal on my main, 1X 160GB and 1X 80GB internal on backup PC, a 500GB external network drive, the external drive has all the media so I can connect it to any pc or HDTV and mainly used for media, I am going to buy a small 250GB drive for OS testing.
I could without blinking photos & videos (home videos not torrent crap) in fact, if I had it my way I'd have 2TB to store and 2TB to backup but I don't have $888.99 for that kind of thing right now!
I have 160 gb inside the computer. And 160 gb outside LoL Internal and external Hdd's is what I mean !
I remember not so long ago having to trawl through folders deleting 30kb files to try and free up some disk space
I am debating.. should i get a passport 320 GB (2.5" external) for $130 or a 7k320 (internal) and get a enclosure for the 80Gb that i am using in my laptop to make it external for $220
