what AV will work for sure..

I am sure I have the Gaobot Trojan http://www.softwaretipsandtricks.com/dangerous_files/4333-Servicessexe.html

My computer has all the symptoms but no files as described in the link were found except 2 in the registry. And the registry on startup says it is modified, and servicess.exe will load, now that file is hard to locate.

I tried Avast, Windows Defender, Symantec's Gaobot removal tool and none of these found it. Since none of them foudn it, I deleted "service" myself but it obviously still there.

is there one with a free trial to use. ?

I have no click sound in IE anymore. I have to continuously do ipconfig release and renew every 2 to 3 minutes just to browse & stay connected. this is a drag..!!

    PLEASE HELP

Definitely Kaspersky. It cleaned bunches of malware/spyware from my hard drive that other software missed. And it doesn't slow down my system like Norton/Symantec.

Kaspersky has a 30 day free trial...good to use to get your hard drive squeeky clean!
