My favorite traffic source is Social Bookmarking Sites. I have received allot of traffic from using Digg.
My personal favorite is article marketing, super targetted and gret response rates, next up has to be blog commenting, again highly targetted. John
I would say Ezine and search engines are good sources of traffic. Adwords is also a good source but this means having resources for the traffic.

Search engines are the best way to get traffic for me and I have found newsletters to be semi beneficial. I have found adwords to be less than worth my money when advertising for my arcade site.
In my opinion, forums and blogs are useful to bring more traffic,of ourse,search engine is useful, too. In one word, do anything you can to promote your site, this is the best way to bring more traffic.
I am working on Organic search traffic because those traffic I don't have to work on. Twitter and social network I feel like you need to spend some time everyday to interact with your followers. Not that it's a bad thing, but if I had a choice, I woiuld prefer organic traffic
In terms of free marketing I would say Twitter, Youtube viral videos, and Myspace are the greatest assets you can give your company .
