Above all is the number one platform from their business strategy. But the question is how we use them?
I like Instagram the most, although I do use Facebook Messenger to chat with my friends, so I guess these are the two main platforms
Facebook is my favorite social media platform. It connects with people, it works like a blog website, you can share photos and videos, It can work as a discussion group and it has cool games.
@yongleinternational I am admin of a facebook group, barely 5k members in it. There is so much spam that I started to miss useful posts. So I changed the setting, Post require approval. Now all spam posts are in moderation section, but so are all good posts, and good members of the group are not able to post anything on time. You have to approve/disapprove each post individually. Facebook groups are "worst of the worst" thing if you are an admin of one... I don't even know how that site is still going on. Nothing but a hangout of spammers.
I am an admin of 125K group with post approval. Made that group years ago. I get so much spam but still makes up for the good posts that I approve on daily basis. Keeps the group neat and clean and to the point.
@LadyStarc I can't even imagine how you do it. I get over 100 posts in pending approval in my tiny group, you must be getting in thousands. And with fb's one by one approval process, I don't know how you do it. FB really is one of the worst websites out there (among big ones) They basically kept adding functionality after functionality, trying to stop other social networks that came along, and now none of the functionalities is at a satisfactory level.
@JEET It is quite simple, you just let the pending posts sit there if you dont have time and if you do then go through them cleaning and cleaning and cleaning..It is tiring but really serves the group great content. Also, I totally agree with you on that one + Facebook is furious if you try remotely to do anything organic on your pages. It is just like a bully that wants to get paid every time you are upto something.
I left pending posts as is for 10 days, now over 700 pending posts are there and it takes long time to load that approval page, very frustrating. Half of spam will automatically finish if fb blocks link share from whatsapp and telegram, but that is not going to happen as whatsapp is fb owned.
I'm into reddit, twitter (depends on my purpose though) and telegram. In my opinion those social media has lots of potential
Instagram for me has always been a consistent favorite! Although I agree it is becoming more strict. Recently I discovered Playsee, which is quite similar to Instagram but focused on video-sharing and your check-in location. It's fun cause you can watch videos from anywhere on the map.
As being a Digital Marketer, I prefer using Facebook most as they give you the most options to sell and your e-commerce products and can even provide you the analytics of sell. But on a personal level- i am much active on twitter, and instagram
