For me, I think I would have to go with Buddhism... while not one who practices Buddhis, from what I have read on it, it sounds pretty damn good. Of course it is not a religion per say, but definetly a solid beleif system.
I subscribe as closely as possible to most Buddhist doctrine. I'm a novice to be sure but I would consider myself a Buddhist for all intent and purposes.
Although I am baptised I follow this religion 1. Have fun 2. Make lady happy so you will be happy 3. Eat good 4. Sleep well 5. Believe in yourself 6. Respect christian tradition of my parents but don't follow those like sheep 7. Have fun
Atheism.. That's what I believe in... And follow the same path as iatbm's, sort of, with some minor changes in point 6..
Favorite?? Does this mean you can change whenever you feel like it?? Sort of defies the cred of that religion or belief if you decide it's not your fav anymore. I stick to a belief system that appears to be logical and true in every sense. There will never be another favorite for me. Col
I was baptised greek catholic and i have never heard a more spiritually uplifting hym then a melkite greek catholic mass. There are very few greek catholic churches where im at but i love going to roman catholic masses which i have been raised in most of my life. While i love my faith i also have great respect for other religious beliefs . I especially love the non violent beliefs of the buddhist faith, and the way that not even an insect can be harmed in a buddhist temple, the hindu religion for their vegetarian beliefs, the muslims for their charity to the poor, born again christians for their devotion to jesus.
What if you've read the book and you don't like the ending? I think we need to keep all books at home too.
Haha, I saw the title and was planning on posting: I'm agnostic but am intrigued by Buddhism... Like you said, it seems like more of a way of living then a religion
I am not religious and I do not think I would ever follow any religion as I don't believe in believing in that way. But I do think the eastern religions (such as Buddhism) are the most interesting. They are the ones that really make me think. Western religions seem to be far behind intellectually.
