Hey guys. I've been a web designer for several years now and i've come across tons of cool Ajax Javascript snippets and library's. I really like using things like lightbox, greybox, thickbox and the mootools library. One thing I've noticed through experimenting is in many cases certain scripts i need are in a pain to integrate because they conflict with others on the page or in the master file. Recently I've taken a liking to Jquery and Scriptaculous they seem compatible with other code on the page such as curvy corners and bubbletooltips. I was just curious what you other designers use to beef up your sites.. I'm thinking of exploring my options.
I like Jquery because it's very fast. I develop my backends in Extjs but it's very slow loading and resource consumer. I would recommend you Jquery
Like you I have used many libraries in the past and encountered issues with compatibility... Currently I am migrating to jquery... I have found it to fast and efficient... no conflicts to date. I am currently in the process of migrating my non jquery libraries over to jquery
