What's your favorite domain registrar??

I finally have some money to spend on buying some domains and create websites, but I need some help from you guys who already tried a bunch of different registrars since I don't really have the funds to test things out [IMG] .
So tell about your experiences if you will. I'd really appreciate it.
    Thanks.

I like domainsite.com and name.com (same company) and netearthone (at reseller prices) because of:
    1) their price
    2) clean website /they don't throw lots of ads at me
    3) they don't try to upsell me during checkout
    4) don't send spammy emails -only contact me with renewal reminders
    4) free private WHOIS - and not just for the first year

For the above reasons I'm not a fan of GoDaddy.

I also use Namecheap but have to add funds to my account before I can buy a domain - I'm always misjudging and not sure if they deduct PayPal fees so I wind up with extra $ in my account.

Well, if you haven't got any funds to tset things out, but do have money to buy domains and create websites, I'm a bit confused. But for what its worth, GoDaddy in the US will give you a free hosting account for a simple site with any domain purchase.

i would vote for Godaddy and name.com, both are reliable and cheap/reasonable register fee.

I meant I don't have enough to be able to try every registrar and see which is best...

Thanks for your insights, and also to all of you, but I'm still not clear on which I should be using. How about their support, any of them offering reliable suport?

Among domain selling sites, GoDaddy rules... I bought dozens of domains from GoDaddy last year just because they are the leader in domain selling.

    Good luck,

Godaddy provides numerous discounts for domains and once you become a customer you get a bunch of them
