What about video analytics? I like to use ClickTale, a startup company that allows members to see what the vistors are doing on their site. You can actually see where the mouse is going, what users typed into forms, what they typed then deleted and did not submit. It's actually quite good and theres a free trial. Support is really good too. Check it out:

For me, my favourite Analytics Solution would be iWebTrack.

Fantastic and far far more informative than GA.

It also (unlike google) allows you to fully track each and every unique visitor's path through the site on a person to person basis.

The reports are a lot better than GA too.

I believe there is a 30 day trial as well (requires a CC)

The tracking is also real-time, which is very cool

And what about Histats? They provide fully detailed statistics of the last 20,000 visits. Has anyone used it?

I am using Histats and AwStats, but there a huge gap between the two.

Histats showed me 174 visitors and AwStats showed me 394 visitor.

    On which should I rely?

I use statcounter + Google Analytics for my own sites. In my company I work on Omniture SiteCatalyst .

There is nothing like good analytics solution or bad, it all depends on how much you can pay and how much you want to take out of it..
