Whats your fav. restaurant chain and what do you order there?

My favorite chain is Outback Steakhouse, and I get the smothered chicken minus mushrooms For drink of choice, the "Wallaby Darned" is the only way to go!

 

Heh.. you Americans and your resturant chains.

IMO there's no substitute for a proper family run resturant. My favourite food-type is Italian - and I mean proper Italian, not just pizza/pasta (although I like those too of course ).

And as for favourite dish - you can't beat a good steak

 

The Keg, they have the most awesome backed potatos and steak.

Some turks runs a pizzaplace just 100-200m(or yards) away. I use to get free home delivery from them and extra pizzasauce, breads and stuffs for free, I know them very well. I don't eat anywhere else

Chic-fila is my favorite for fast food, can't think of what I like from somewhere a little nicer...

Taco Bueno mmmmmmm Chilada's....It's an enchilada with Chili instead of enchilada sauce.

 

Nothing better than an open faced corned beef sandwich from Ella's Deli on E Washington Ave in Madison, WI. Gotta go on a Saunday so you can get the home-made curly fries with a side of gravy! Nothing better than dipping those fries in gravy....

 

Favorite restaurant chain for Pizza -

Roundtable WomboCombo. Smoky, gourmet feast. YUMMMMMMMMMM

Primo pepperoni, Andouille and hickory sausages, crisp bacon, Portabella mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, artichoke hearts and green onions. Baked with a blend of 3 cheeses on our Zesty Red Sauce.

 

Any chain that serves cocktails is fine by me, I'm not picky

 

Chains suck ass- IMO! They make me sick!

H(.)(.)TERS is the best but I only go a few times per year.

If I get 'fast food', I prefer local, greasy spoon-type places.

Abuelo's is my favorite. We eat there at least once a week. Hard to say my favorite, but the two I eat most often are the "LOS MEJORES DE LA CASA" and the Chile Relleno dinner. Always with a glass of Dos Equis Amber and sometimes a shot of Don Julio 1942.

 

I dont think i even know any restaurant chains here. Im sure they would suck anyway. Restaurants should be original. At the moment i like this Tapas spanish restaurant. They do really nice wine drinks + sangria + paella + sea food platas... mmmmm



ps: Oh! Is chilys a restaurant chain? But they are like weatherspoons for food.

 

Yes, Chili's is a chain...and they suck ass!

Does Morton's count as a chain?

 

Technically Morton's is a chain but they're pretty good, so I'd put them in a separate category.

 

Sonny's BBQ, particularly the all-you-can-eat pork ribs.

Unfortunately, Sonny's is a chain in the Deep South, and I live in the Pacific Northwest. So Sonny's is a vacation stop only.
