hey all I was just wondering what your conversion rate for amazon products was. Mine is about 4% im not sure if that is low or high?
I get between 20% and 30% over a month. Im using mainly stores to promote products (not blogs or adverts), which result in higher conversions.
Our stats for August so far are as given below: Clicks 464 Unique Visitors: 331 Items Ordered (Amazon): 1 Items Ordered (3rd Party): 2 Total Items Ordered: 3 Conversion: 0.65% I guess it's very poor compared to something like 4% site:certexams.com
Depends alot on the type of site you are running, but 4% is a good average. A little example: I have a music site that converts at about 1.2%, but it makes me more than a niche blog of mine with 20% conversion, because it gets LOADS of traffic. Many factors to keep in mind, e.g. if you link images, you'll see more clicks and more sales overall, but probably a lower conversion rate, since many people may think they get a bigger image when clicking the small one. While optimizing conversion is important, a good conversion rate won't mean you make alot of money.
Its depend on your niche. some of my site has <1% conversion some others as high as 50% this month. I start playing amazon a month ago and iam happy to get my first sale. Doest 4% come from 1 site or multiple site? i have a friend that work as full online marketer playing amazon, its around 5%. Your conversion is high according to this.
Just got our first conversion yesterday, for the month it's 1.75% (1 out of 57..and it wasn't even a product we directly linked too..). But overall that makes it 1 out of about 267 clicks since we started on the 26th, making it only 0.37%.
Ugh, I am under 1%. I guess it kind of depends on what you are trying to sell though and the type of site that you have.
i think thats just fine because mines from 5-7 % which i know is pretty good so ya i think that you 4% will increase but its fine for the time being
