I want to know why Google can't give us 100% of the ad revenue? Hell, they are so rich they could give me 150% and buy me a new car! If Heather Mills can collect $100 million for 15 minutes of one-legged jiggory pokey I don't see why we shouldn't ALL get new cars from Google! If anyone from Google is listening please considering sharing your immense wealth with your hard working publishers Cheers BP
Do you work in google? else what is the use of listing down complaints against goggle adsense, it will not help the web masters.
Smart Pricing I want more transparency. I want to provide advertisers with the best possible return so they provide me with higher bids, but if you don't tell me what I'm doing wrong or what parts of my site aren't converting well for advertisers, then I can't fix them. You tell me to optimize ad colors and placement, but ad colors don't provide a better ROI for the advertiser. Get rid of the MFA Advertisers. Give me more tools to understand what keywords the contextual engine is pinging on to show certain ads. Not just the ad preview tool, but a tool to show what that "context" actually is for each page as seen by the AdSense bot. Better analytics. Integrate AdSense with Analytics so I can see what traffic is generating the most income... or more importantly, what traffic is causing my smart pricing (i.e. low ROI for advertisers). I'll stop showing ads to those users, but without knowing who they are, or what pages, I can't help you. Let us KNOW if we are being smart priced. The guessing game is getting old and stressful. If I know I'm being smart priced, I can at least try to do something (still a shot in the dark), but if it's just advertisers having low budgets, I'll sit patiently. Don't tease us with new features then wait weeks to roll them out. (I know some people already have manage ads... I do not) Make the description of the ad clickable. My users are hopped up on caffeine and haven't slept in days, they can't click such a tiny link Stop with the canned replies. If I email you, it's because I want a real person to actually put some thought in to my question. Not a copy/paste reply that I've already seen 100 times before on your blog, help pages, and previous inquiries. I gave YPN another shot this past week, and I was honestly impressed with the earnings I saw. They outdid AdSense by about 10%. Granted, it may have been all those "accidental clicks"
1) Lack of transparency. 2) MFA/Arbitrage 3) the infamous 200 competitors list. I want wildcards badly. Contextual ads DOESN'T mean that if I sell windshield wipers, you gonna put tons of ads about windshield wipers on my site because you trigger my keyword. I would like to see something complementary and not competitive all the time. 4) Statistic are quite crap. 5) last but not least $0,01 clicks are an insult to honest publishers.
taking down mfa sites!! Bad! You're just afraid of competition Get good stuff on your site... and you should be above MFA sites..
- Inability to block adverts that you really don't want but they keep changing their URL so you end up with 50 blocked URLs for the same ad in your competitive filter - Inability to block categories of ads - they have a few you can block but it doesn't work and its a pretty pathetic list - Payout of $AU150 a month - Have to agree on the lack of any customer support - The preview tool is virtually useless when someone tells you to block an offensive ad and you go looking for it and you simply cannot find it because it doesn't show ALL the ads that are displayed on your site - way too many offensive ads (or I have too many easily offended visitors) - Keyword targetting is truly dismal for some kinds of websites (I run two dictionaries) and you have to go to serious lengths to get adsense to actually pick up the right keywords to get appropriate ads Their ad screening and blocking features in general are so poor I'm in the middle of writing my own ad network that in theory won't allow all those offensive ads.
