There is nothing valuable about Windows, it's insecure, buggy and slow after you install several software. My distro is (K)Ubuntu Linux or Fedora Core for desktops, CentOS as server.
I never used Mac and never used Vista so i dont know much. XP is good and got problem sometime. I hope i can change to vista soon.
I mainly run Linux Mint. I also use Mepis Linux on another PC. I have Windows 2000 installed even on yet another PC which I very rarely use. Not too long ago I bought a MacBook which I don't use much either. And it has ended up being a rather expensive paper weight. I voted for Linux.
XP For everyday use and Win98 for some really old programs, yeah, and I still got 3.1 on my ole laptop but I bring it out of the cage only when I am bored and fancy some fun.
anyone find any real stats... isn't XP on top of course? i saw somewhere on the net they had some stats of how many people use XP vs. Vista, Mac, linux, ect. Mac is actually starting to pick up though. Strange!
