    a computer of that spec on windows is FAR FAR cheaper, easily a 3rd of that price, computers are upgrading so fast now, why waste money on something so expensive it will be out of date within a year?

    I bought HP 6710b with preinstalled vista. It was worse than acer 2350 (3 years old). After downgrading into xp, everything is ok.

    Ok its XP all the way. I have vista on one of my laptops and XP on the PC and the othe laptop, Hands down there is no comparison between the tow of vista and XP whatsoever no matter what others sayl.

    And what I found from experience that every other system that Micorosoft puts puts pit iis great. Or every other two. So like 95 was great, 98 was the best, 2000/millinium - subpar. XP was the utimate and vista well....hasn't figured out quite what it is suppose to be quite yet.

    has to be xp pro been running now for few months no problems or crashes i had to reinstall xp home every other week, and i wont even mention vista what a waste of time that episode was
