Hey, I want to see how many people use good Operating Systems, and how many are using Vist.. i mean, how many use bad Operating Systems, so cast your vote. Chose more than one if you have more than one computer/multiple OS installations. Regards, Nick
Currently got a Windows XP Home Edition but sick and tired of its irregularities and the frequent crashes. Shall be switching to Mac OS X Jaguar soon.
Lol...Jaguar was 10.2. Shouldn't need to go back in the vault unless you are switching to a G3. Surely you'll be on Tiger or Leopard? Otherwise you'll be back complaining about how slow it is. 10.4.10 OSX and proud of it. Will go with Leopard when G5's come down to my budget.
Mine is Windows 2003, I find that most stable and least restricted compared to other series like XP, no doubt XP is good but you can really use for a home server.
FreeBSD-STABLE usually for secure, high performance scenarios, OpenBSD in critical producion environments. Windows 2000 if it has to be MicroSoft. No browser either
I love XP though it crashes if proper firewall is not used and ya in XP the startup is far slow as compared to vista ultimate which i was previously using and have switched back to xp for some software compatibility issue.
I have 4 Linuses and a Windoze(OMG! that adds 2 five->You sure should ask for a tut ) presently installed in my comp I mainly use kubuntu 7.10 gutsy but I also have UBuntu gutsy Fedora Electronics Lab Slackware 12.0 and finally the big,bad and ugly XP (I use to do my college assignments )
Obviously MS products! But hold on...IMO...the only valuable MS products are Win2k and XP. I personally think XP is the best! Win2k is more faster tho.
