I am interested to see what everyones best money making schemes have been. I am guessing a lot of you will be saying proxy sites but i am very curious. When thinking about this please consider the time it took to make times by the amount of money you had made or make. My personal best was my proxy sites up to now, which in 3 weeks made $161. Tell me yours Will.

Here's an idea--which I think as a hardcode business guy is really good--but which SEO wizards rarely want to explore... In a nutshell, you take a standard bricks and mortar business. Something for which there is established demand, transparency in the market ("no Google blackbox!"). Something that if a business could bump their sales by 20%, say, would become a long-term goldmine. Then you buy that business. (Note: Small businesses have very low multiples so buying a business that makes $200K a year might only cost you $400K and the seller will finance most of that.) And you use your SEO and search engine marketing skills to jack your revenues by 20%... In many businesses (service businesses, obvious) that 20% bump in your revenue will drop mostly to the bottomline...
Adsense is easiest way to make money online but affiliate programs can make more if you find right one.

I've made 13k in 8 months with a bidding directory. It was never intended to be a money making scheme though.

Setting up a site in a niche market is the way to go for me. I'm surprised so many people make money off proxy sites. I would have figured there were so many out there already, it'd be an insanely hard market to get into. Guess I was wrong
