Whats your average Page CTR and Page eCPM

Alright I think I am having problems with adsense...now I guess you could say I have just started with putting ads on my sites.

I guess I will start by putting my averages for everything:



Page CTR: .65%
Page eCPM: $.52

 

my proxy list site has 2.5% CTR and 1.6$ eCPM , it's all about ad placement
but I think your CTR is good

If fetchblog.com is the adsense site you might move the ads to hotter spots on the page. The right side is dead compared to the left and the top.

you might also place the ads within the content and around pictures (watch the tos though) above the fold. See the adsense help pages for their heat map.

 

Don't settle for this. Depending on your niche a .65% CTR is quite low.

 

anyway if his keywords is high then it's good

High Ctr + Low paying keyword = low ctr + high paying keyword

 

Thanks all of you guys...I really appreciate the help. I will try to place the ads in better spots. I figured that I shouldnt be settling for it. What other things can I do to ensure 100 percent optimization of this kind of stuff?

Would not CTR be a good indication of if the ad is hitting the mark over meeting CPM targets?

 

I dont know, I guess I dont really understand what everything means...I should probably figure that out before I decide how to fix my problem.

 

Optimize ads placements. Try different ad units.

I suggest you try 336*250 or 250*250 ad unit.

My CTR is 1.36% and eCPM is $0.81, I just started out and was wondering if this was decent?

Wow, all of you guys are doing amazing...What is it that you guys are doing? is it soley ad placement, im sure there are other things too right?
