    People, people, people... Alexa has no relevance to anything that matters. Never has. Never will. There are many things worth stressing about when it comes to SEO and SEM. Alexa is not one of them.

    true but it can be and index on the traffic or age of the website. Won't tell you exactly but with a alexa of 4 mio you will know the website definitely has not the 10k visitors a day as promised

    Alexa is good for comparing the traffic and giving an approximate measure

    But I dont think anybody would have been laying emphasis on it so much as it has no relation with SEO
