    Alexa is not 100% accurate. It can only measure the amount of visitors coming to sites who are using their toolbar. The reason why the one with less visitors has a higher rank is because more people who use their toolbar visit that site, not that there are actually more visitors.

    The website Amrute.Me has Alexa rank ~300 000
    & in for India rank in ~ 50,000 somewhere.
    got .me domain early this year. :) still lot of content to add there.

    I'm JUST over 1Million on http://totalchunk.com/, I used to work for a site which had a rank of 190k and it pulled in 900+ uniques per day :D

    Edit: The Total Chunk site has 35 uniques per day btw
