I was watching TV and suddenly they showed Towers.I thought it was movie or something like that as i was like 9 years old but after few minutes i found out that it is real and LIVE Saad
9/11 is my bday and i was pretty young when it happened but i remember being in school and coming back into the class after recess and the teacher was crying and freaking out..it was a pretty bad day after that
I was sleeping on the couch and woke up to the news on TV. I then went and bought a car, seriously. It was a red 1998 Sebring LXi (the hard top ones)
I was in college at the time. I was pissed off that morning, but I can't remember what is was about. The first time I heard that the WTC buildings were hit, I thought it was just some idiot who didn't know how to fly, and I didn't think the buildings would collapse. I remember walking into my Art class at the local college and watching everyone looking at the footage on television. When I walked into art class, and saw everyone silent watching the television screen, I realized that it was very serious, and more than just pilot error.... I think I was pissed off because I was late to my art class, but no one was really paying much attention............
You wouldn't think the world trade towers would collapse but all the weight was on the frame of the building. The buildings didn't have interior supporting columns which allowed more office space (40000 sq ft per floor) Each floor was 1 full acre. I got a chance to work there before the attack and the amount of space and the views were unbelievable.
I remember watching the TV live when the buildings collapsed... that was horrifying seeing it live ~MG
