Not at all, I stand behind that Obama never stated he intended to invade Pakistan. I was not wrong, not even remotely. Could an option be invading? Surely it could be, he in no way shape or form stated he intended on invading Pakistan.

Being prepared does not state he is going to invade. Of course it's an option, an option does not equate to he is going to do it. By your own logic we have already been 'invading' Pakistan with going a crossed the border with raids w/o permission. Again it is only a possibility, he did not state 'When I am president I will invade Pakistan' or anything of the sort. A warning, and stating he is prepared is not stating he will. Hell us 'warning' Russia at times must mean we will invade. A warning or the possibility does not equate to a definite invasion. Which I totally agree with, it does not state we will 'invade' Pakistan. He could ask for permission, hope to work with Pakistan, so many ways to take the fight to the terrorists in Pakistan short of invading. Oh yes again 'if' 'if' does not state 'I plan to invade, I will invade'. Hell if I was for invading any country it would be Pakistan! I wish someone was saying we will invade and route the rest of the terrorist factions, and get out of Iraq. It simply is not the case.
A 'possibility' is not saying, 'when elected president I will invade Pakistan.' Back then Biden was also running against Obama and willing to spin anything to his advantage I'm sure.
I guess with that logic we did not invade Iraq or Afghanistan because Bush did not say "I will invade Iraq" or "I will invade Afghanistan"
People are misrepresenting what Obama has said re: Pakistan. He has said he would go after Bin Laden if he knows he is there. That's all.
You need to do a little more research on Obama's view. He stated terrorist and he does not like that Pakistan is a safe haven.
Do you know what the term logic is? With Iraq it was obvious we were invading, with Afghanistan it was obvious we were invading. Obama never stated he 'will' invade. Is it a possibility? Certainly, as is many other items.

Obama was/is apparently for hitting high value terrorist targets within Pakistan but I wouldn't say he wanted to "invade" them. Invade implies that he wants to attack Pakistan itself, he doesn't. It's unfortunate that people in the Pakistani government see any operations along their border as an invasion of their sovereignty, but it's not unexpected.
If another country did the same thing in the United States would the United consider it an attack? or would they say "It's OK they are going after criminals."
Yes, he also said such things as 'paraphrased' they don't do something about a target we will. He did not say he would outright invade them, a fundamental difference. We have been doing it, sending missile strikes w/o their permission for starters. Saying 'if' they do not do something is not saying 'I am going to invade', totally different.
