The general design is very nice. The featured products section could be improved. Need the text that reads 'FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED SINCE 2004 - QUESTIONS? CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE' be capitalised?
I dont have to have that capitalized I just liked better that way and to anonymous, yea I really was thinking of getting a number which I probably will specially if I start getting business, I have tried adwords and just lost to much money, and now my site isnt getting no traffic at all, 0, kinda a heart breaker
It's good... But add a blog section and get lots of posts in there especially with blog comments. Stir up a little friendly controversy. Get people talking and Liking and commenting on your blog section... that will get them reading the rest. well done Martin
Create a Facebook page to get more traffic on your site and try amazon also for make this more better as a business point of view.
Nice design and Look. I think you should focus more on ON Page SEO. You can add more attractive Page Titles and meta tags, etc.. You can hire an SEO person for you to get more traffic with Search Engines. Pm me if you are interested, i will work for you at low cost.
Nice!!! You made an effective design which lets to the users attraction. You may add enlarge function to your image so that the user can view your site images in a large scale.
I say your website is well designed and set out well. I think it's just a matter of promotion. Websites need to be promoted or else no one knows they exist. Try building link exchanges with other websites of a similar niche, placing more emphasis on social networking to draw in customers, giveaways and competitions are always a good start too! Good luck.
I have that on most of my product pages where they can view the image larger, some of them dont because I don't have a large pic for that item and I do have a facebook page, and I do have a seo company building backlinks for my site and I am building unique content, and I'm not getting one stupid visitor, and have had my site at 2 different host for 2 years now, something is seriously wrong?
wow, it looks pretty nice. I see nothing wrong with the design or anything but if you are depending on the traffic threw google Adworld, that might be a problem. The traffic that google brings on your website is not exactly who were looking for the product that you were selling. They come from side-bar Ads or other banner so its almost not possible. Try effective back-linking and if you are targeting specific area, try the hand-out flayer advertisement. I have done a laptopbattery site in the past where I did not get any customer till I did flayer advertisement in my local area myself. Also of you have some big deal batters on your main page, while I agree that it will some-what ruin your prefect page theme but to get customer's attention on first glaze .. you need something that will meet their eyes. So Good Luck.
Hi Well done on your first sale! Just gave your FB Page a like. When you get to 21 likes, you can change the URL of your FB Page to a "vanity" URL, i.e. one that's shorter, easier on the eye & easier to remember, e.g. www.facebook.com/CampersRidge. Once done, you can shorten the URL to www.fb.com/CampersRidge and use that for promotional purposes. Also, in the world of trying to get sales online straight-away from first time visitors, conversion rate is <1%. Instead, create & offer a free, valuable gift that's relevant to the niche you're targeting, e.g. Free Camping Guide & Checklist, that visitors can opt-in for (e.g. give their name & email address to access). This will build you an email list that you can then build a relationship with & sell to by email marketing over weeks, months or year, giving you more sales opportunities. E.g. 1 email a week = 52 sales opportunities a year. Use an auto-responder and write a sequence of emails that will be delivered to your opt-ins on at least a weekly basis. These should deliver valuable tips & advice, with about 1 in 4 emails being a sales message. Join some camping forums and participate in answering Qs, solving problems, asking Qs, PM people you like and want to get to know more, strating threads, etc. Make sure you have a "stand out" forum signature that hyperlinks back to your website. Set up a referral system to get referrals from all your buyers, as they likely know others in the market. Works best if you can give them a financial incentive to refer you, e.g. money-off next purchase voucher. Also, add a video intro to the top of your landing page. This will help to build rapport more quickly with visitors and can dramatically help increase conversion rates. Like one of the other members posted here, worth adding a blog page and posting fresh, relevant, useful content for your niche on at least a weekly basis. This will provide useful info for your visitors, keeping them on your site for longer & encourage repeat visits. It also helps build your authority in the niche & raises your status in their minds. Furthermore, if you find a long-tail keyword to serve your niche (sweet-spot keyword has Demand >2500 global monthly searches, exact-match, and Supply <250,000 Google search results, exact match using "keyword"), you can SEO each post for that keyword and attract organic Google traffic. Best Wishes David P.S. I've registered a facebook page that I'll be setting up in the future. Could you and others on this forum please give me a like? Here's the page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/ConsultWithDavidParkercom/320877161330794 Thank you!
Thanks for the facebook like I really needed that!! and great advice I'm going to have to start trying some of that..
You really really got a very good website. I think you got a stupid marketing guy. He must be a fool who can not promote this website. You just need a good Internet marketer. Hire a good SEO professional for your website. SEO has highest conversion rate and choose your keywords very carefully. Tell your SEO guy to choose keywords with high exact search volume.
Make your site as simple as possible. As a web master I suggest you to remove to introduction note from the front page or take the note to the bottom of the site. Use a CSS banner slideshow module instead of the still image.
well I don't think my seo company, knows what there doing, but there cheap and I can't afford more than what I am paying them
