What's wrong with my site?

I just found a problem that when I search my domain name in google, my site is not listed.

For example, I tried carpricedatabase, car price database, for both query my homepage returned at 1 before. Right now, my homepage is not shown anymore and instead, some of my pages are shown but at 3 or 5.

your on page 1, position 4 as far as I can see.

Any drops could be a lack of new content compared to your competitors

 

Expect lots of strange fluctuations for a new site, it will always happen.

So it is not a penalty or something similiar?

What concerns me is my site has been there for about 2 years, and the homepage (not pages under it) has been #1 for those keywords. and even I google "carpricedatabase" and the first returned is a blog I set up on blogger.

 

Home pages aren't always the most relevant pages, a blog with lots of content and links etc could just be seen to have more value. As long as the traffic is still coming, don't worry which page they come from
