whats wrong with my site?

    Hi, my site: www.schoolloansnow.blogspot.com
    I am getting more than 1k impression a day and also getting a decent traffic...
    but i am getting about 2-3 clicks a day now...
    why???
    i also submitted this site to 70 directories today...
    hope will get clicks..
    can anyone tell me if the placement is wrong?

    I looked at the titles of your posts and it seems that you know nothing about SEO.

    That's cool... you're probably just beginning.

    I also looked at your Alexa Rank. 1,000 impressions a day and you'd probably have a graph on Alexa.

    Finally, your site hasn't even been indexed by Google.


    With all of that being said, are you maybe viewing your site too much? Also,
    your ad placement isn't the greatest. 336x280 in your posts is definitely the best placement there is.
    Also, if you are getting 1,000 impressions a day --> a high amount of UNIQUE VISITORS, I am curious
    to see where you're getting your traffic from. If you're using traffic exchange then that's against TOS
    and it's obvious to why you are not getting clicks. --> traffic exchange people don't click ads.

    ttomp13 has given you some insights about your low CTR. I will add a few more. Get a domain and use large rectangle ads embedded in the contents. Also, with 1,000 impressions you will most probably get 10 or less click, provided those 1,000 impressions are viewed by people who are looking for the kind of info you have on your site. If your visitors are mostly internet marketing type of people, there is no reason for them to click on your ad. The best way to improve is to get targeted traffic, not just any traffic.

    impression doesn't necessarily give you traffic. it depends how you are having those impressions. if they are real human visitors, then you surely would have some clicks. but if the traffic is from stumble or other source with high bounce rate, then those traffic will not convert. and regarding directory submission to 70 directories, it surely will not give you any traffic as dir submission is for getting backlinks mostly which will improve your serp depending on the quality of submission but will not give you instant traffic. just work on doing some seo on your site and focus on getting real human visitor
