What's wrong with my proxy earnings?

Hey all.

The image below shows the last 2 days webalizer stats and adsense earnings for 2 of my proxies. As you can see, the unique visits are a fair amount yet the combined earnings are, i think, poor. Is something wrong here or do those stats look about normal to you?

Also, why are the page impressions recorded by google so low if the unique visits are so high?

 

Where's the traffic coming from? Maybe google does not consider it as valid.

 

The traffic is coming from google and yahoo groups.

 

Try to change the templates.

 

And ad placement.

 

Also, check your Entry page stats to make sure people are not deep linking and bypassing your home page.

 

You'll have good days then bad days. But I'm guessing your problem is ad placement.

 

Apparently there is a problem with adsense channel tracking. There is a discussion in google's thread on this Forum

 

sometime i can see proxy sites display PSA site. maybe your site too

 

How much better can you get than big blocks of ads in the center, above the fold, right above the url bar?

The reason I chose this template was because a lot of other people were having great success with it. But I will launch a third proxy soon and experiment other templates on it anyways. Thanks.

I just checked and its saying there is only one entry page from all of that traffic. And that is '/' which I assume just means the home page.

I find that proxy ads dont pay that well. Maybe try a different ad provider like adbrite or azoogle or just about anything. They might do a little better.

OK. Try this.

first. you need change the keyword. http://www.freekeywords.wordtracker.com change the default keyword.

second. your themes similiar default. not change anything just replace the PUB-ID. try to change with different word in your template.
