I guess this is the best place to post it and ask for advice Plz move it to right forum if I'm wrong.

I had few sites hosted on shared hosting account but they seems not working since few days. So I change the server.

Now Still i can't see the sites but others can. I can see then through proxies. I checked in Firefox, IE and Opera and same result. sites not loading.

Anyone had this kinda problem ? all suggestions and advice r welcome. :)

Hello bluearrow, first let me introduce you to clear you cache/cookies.

If this does not solve, your ISP (internet service provider) may take a little longer than the rest to actually be able to see the changes so you can view the site.

I did clear cache and cookies.

The thing is why it happened only to sites which was on this server. I have shared hosting in other servers and i haven't had problem when change move sites. Not even in this server before.

Best solution.... DUMP YOUR COMPUTER AND BUY A NEW ONE...:D....Just Kidding

try formatting your system.... May be its a problem because of that... Do this and then see what happens... :)

Do a Traceroute to the sites and see if the IP address is pointing to the new or the old host ? It is likely that the DNS has not fully propagated to your ISP as yet. There is nothing much you can do but wait.

Of course, if you are using IE, you probably need to close it and reopen it again. I noticed that when there is a change of IP, it does not know how to deal with it and give me a blank screen until I restart it again.

You can constantly go to your Command Prompt mode and type 'ipconfig /renew' . This will clear your IP tables and allow it to reload new ones. I find that at times, this will help my computer get the new DNS.

Incidentally go to http://www.intodns.com and check to see if the DNS for your domain name is properly set up.

    Try this:

    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /renew

This has happened to me before. All I did was leave it for a few days and it returned back to normal. Also check your router settings.

Its nothing, but your ISP may blocked some IPs. If you change your server. Your ISP will block again because second time it will recognize with domain name. I am just telling you this with my own experience. I am having MTNL Broadband. And, in terms of services. It is worst. Great India ! I called them more 100 times to unblock my site, but no use.

    Format?

You don't need to do that. Also try to unplug your connection for a few and follow the other steps in command prompt. Clear your cache / temp internet files in your browser too.

    LOL what a joke.

I've had this problem before and it was caused by too many failed attempts to login to cpanel. Contact your host and see if you are blocked due to this.

Do not format the PC, its of no use just ask your ISP to unblock those IPs which your sites are using and it will be okay i think.

its nothing but the DNS isn't resolved by the area or say country. Just wait few days and everything will be back to normal. This happens when we changes DNS and its normal.
