    It seems to me virus or some advertising company.

    I have seen this on my friends computer who got some pharmacy ad showing on bottom of page. It was only on one pc. it only went away when i reinstalled the windows.

    weird, my country is canada

    This only happens in the opera browse and no other. I fixed it by restarting opera

    That's strange, can you tell us which country specific this is?

    Google (Worldwide) & Google Australia, seems just fine.

    my guess,opera cached this image http://www.google.ca/images/nav_logo3.png in the wrong place.
    that image is the one you see after you search.
    it is stretched because of the dimensions.
