Hi, look, I will be completely honest here, so sorry if I appear blunt...

Google's whole business relies on bringing searchers decent results. If people game them by spinning PLR article somehow, trying to get them indexed and maybe ranked, then it may well put people off using Google, as other engines would return better results!

Now, considering the amount of tech power and developers Google have got behind them, do you really think it is worth trying to trick them? I don't!

Better to have much less indexed pages, but to write unique and interesting content, that is focused on it's topic, and uses a relevant title and h1 tag.

Add into that some images, with relevant alt tags, a 'ShareThis' button, and create an RSS feed of all your content... ping the RSS feeds whenever you add new content, and I have a feeling that you will do MUCH better when trying to get traffic!

Just DON'T try to trick Google, they have MUCH more man power and $ than you, so don't tisk getting caught by playing games!

ON the whole, I agree with this poster, except it depends HOW you 'spin' it. Changing random characters, using html entities, that kind of thing, will bring the se's down on you like a ton of bricks.

BUT... if you took an existing piece of content, and rewrote it yourself, so it was unique, THAT would be OK. And if you used an automated tool like... oh.. a spell checker, perhaps, to assist you, THAT would be ok. And if you automatically 'wrangled' the content so it was still perfectly readable, but now unique, THAT would be ok too. As you say, it's all about not screwing over google's "user experience".
