I have a blog which uses unique content and has over 1000 pages indexed with google. But so far I have not got a single visitor from google.

What could be the reason for this?

    help appreciated.

What is the website? Do your individual pages rank for any specific keywords? If not that would explain the lack of traffic.

to be honest i think there is a problem with your analytics package, either that or you're lying for attention! there is no way that with over 1000 indexed pages or original content that you are not getting any traffic at all.

Thanks for your suggestion, not very much familiar with the tools you have suggested, but will try to have a look
The content which I am using are PLR articles, but i m using a plugin which makes the content unique for search engines.

If you are interested in the URL, i will send it to you via PM. There is no problem with the analytic page either as I m using statcounter and google analytics to track this and so far i have not made much on my adsense either.

All I am asking is for possibilities.
    cheers!

okay first of all it was meant as a semi-joking tongue in cheek way, but in all honesty i do not believe that google is driving you ZERO traffic if you are in fact indexed. sorry.

now suggestion: have you checked that you ARE indexed? have you asked your friends to run a search and click through, just so you can test your analytics package to make sure it isn't showing incorrect results? build long-tail links to your site, ensure a good internal linking structure and you should be fine...

I have edited my prev post :)

Well the thing is, i have checked it from 3 different places, so when i visit, i see the visits on statcounter and Google Analytic. so should not be a problem with the code. I guess it something to do with my titles is it?

Let me share the url and you can explain me more on this. here it is

Can you help me more on this? I will appreciate it matt!

    cheers!

hmm, your page doesnt load for me. could be the issue?

a sure-fire way to get your blog indexed is to use blog spot. i will give more feedback if i can reach your page, but even the worst websites in the world receive small amounts of google traffic!

er.. if you're using any kind of 'uniquifier' that replaces random characters with HTML control codes or java, you're probably already banned.

Look on the bright side. You only paid $19 to get an instant ban.

There are only 3 ways to get UNIQUE content.

    Write it yourself.

Pay someone else to write it

    Wrangle it. (content wrangling).

He's absolutely right. Most "tricks" get uncovered fairly quick when it comes to google. You have to be very careful.

Your blog is probably new, and the finance niche has a fair bit of competition.

I just googled the title of one of your articles " unusual specialist insurance explained", and didn't see you anywhere in the top 50.

Going with machine written PLR's isn't going to help your blog much though.

For what kind of keywords are you No.1?

If it is for some obscure keyword, you won't obviously get any traffic.

it depends on the machine. I can show you blogs written 'by machine' that you could only tell weren't human written because I told you.

I checked your blog, it has good content and it is indeed indexed by Google. The problem with it is probably that it is not well SEO-ed. You should use the "All In One SEO" plugin for WordPress to improve the SEO of the title articles. Also, change the URLs to /%postname%/ only instead of /%category%/%postname%/ as it is now. I think with these two changes, it can improve your rankings in Google and you will get the traffic.

    Guys,

I appreciate your responses. I will take a look at my blog and stop using the PLR articles. As said earlier, content is king and using unique content makes a lot of sense!

    cheers

I took a look at your site and read some of the articles. They do not read very well although I would not think that this would be an issue for the search engines.

Did you put up all the content all at once?

I would suggest adding your own unique hand written content on a regular basis, once or twice a week.

Then at the same slow pace gradually add backlinks.

Google spends ensuring their SERPS are useful and have many ways to detect poor quality content.

I have seen many tricks over the years and they have all eventually been detected by Google. The only was to build a useful, sustainable and profitable site is through hard work.
